We have received widespread reports of technical problems registering with the We The People petition site as well as post-registration technical problems with signing the Access2Research petition itself.
It appears the vast majority of problems can be solved first logging out of the website and then logging back in. Once logged in, click on the link for the petition and you should be able to sign it.
If this does not work, try clearing your browser cache. The Indiana University IT department has put together a lovely guide to clearing your cache for all major browsers and operating systems. We now officially owe someone in Bloomington a cocktail.
If even this does not work, try logging into the website from a different browser than you normally use. If you don’t use Firefox, this might be a good time to start.
